Frequently Asked Questions
A & A’s payment terms are:
- Standard payment terms 7 days: checks to be mailed or send by Fedex (Fedex charges to be deducted from carrier unless account number is provided by carrier)
- Less than 7 days: 2% service charge will be deducted from gross rate to the truck. A check will be mailed or sent by Fedex with 48 hours of A & A receiving legible paperwork.
- Comck settlement: 3% service charge will be deducted from the net rate to truck and payment will be made before the end of the working day subject to legible paperwork being submitted.
How do I check my payment status:
Call or email (ap@aatrans.com). Be sure to have your trip# handy which you can find on your load confirmation.
How much can I get for a fuel advance and are there any fees?
40% of net rate to truck is available upon request after loading granted that documentation is provided to show proof of loading. Any amount requested after 40%, will incur an additional fee of 2%.
What is the cut-off time for getting Comchek settlements?
2:00pm Central time, Monday-Friday
To load with A & A we require:
- Completed online Carrier Packet
- Valid MC or US DOT number
- Minimum of $100,000 cargo policy
- Reefer Breakdown endorsement on insurance certificate
How can I submit a check call?
The most efficient way to keep A & A informed is to accept Macropoint tracking upon booking a load. Other options to check call would be, emailing, texting, or the good old fashion phone call to your corresponding broker.
